Kittens have arrived, and oh my God this is the most fun ever. They seem to be in great health and I'm glad we took them both as they spend hours chasing each other, wrestling, and playing ferocious. It's cat television, 24-7. I'm sure it will get old eventually, but if I wasn't falling asleep into my computer I could stay up all night watching.
Have a look.
Try not to look at the horribly tacky stick-on "parquet" floor that needs replacing and is dirty.
(apropos of absolutely nothing ...
Does anyone who watches HGTV not think this guy is the devil incarnate? I was doing the surfing/blogging/one-eye-on-tv thing this morning when the half-hour changed and he came on. I tell you, the scramble for the remote and the hands-quaking smashing of buttons were the longest and most painful 30 seconds of my life so far. Why is he still on television? Someone must be watching and I want to know who it is.
I have been a Mac user for 17 years and was an Apple II plus user before that, but I still cannot keep the control key, the alt/option key, and the command key straight. I not only have to look every time, but I have to stop and think about what each one is for. Since I'm a very fast touch-typer, I think this is kind of weird. However, I also cannot accurately type numbers without looking.)
Mary Scarlet the kittens are GORGEOUS. The lighter one looks like Popeye (except its eyes are even) and when I saw the photo I felt all gushy remembering those funny kittens we had as guests those years ago. The other one is stunning -- those eyes!! So, who is who? Introduce us.
That guy on HGTV... um, I watch him (hee hee hee). I don't watch regularly or anything, I don't know when his show comes on, but if I catch him I always pause to see if he's talking about shade plants (my yard is shady, and as barren as I).

Oh, they are so freaking cute. Now I want one.

Paul James, the devil incarnate?! I LIKE Paul! I will never be able to watch his show again without thinking he will suddenly sprout hornbuds from his head and cheerfully plant hostas in a ring of fire.

Kitties! Oh, they are absolutely darling. Those little soft sparkly balls are a huge hit in our house as well. We've probably bought about 50 of them, since they disappear remarkably quickly. Once I moved a bookcase and found (I shit you not) TWELVE of them behind it. Plus two fuzzy gray mice. Cats.

They are very cute. If I wasn't allergic to them, I'd be jealous.
Don't know the HGTV guy.

Adorable! I'm glad you got them both, imagine you trying to replace one of those two in a wrestling match, being on-kitty-call 24/7. I don't know that gardening guy, but he looks like the last person I would want to take tips from, on any topic.

I am soooo jealous.

Oh my god, it's like cute overload. Man, they are so cute. It makes me wish I wasn't allergic to cats.
(wtf am I thinking? I can't be getting anymore animals)

I also touch type fast, but have to look at numbers. I guess I just never learnt them properly.
The kittens are ADORABLE. but you knew that already.

You never get tired of watching them play, trust me. They bring such joy, don't they?

Thank goodness you cancelled out the Paul James reference by all the cute kitten photos. Otherwise, well, I hate to think of how I'd be feeling now.
Glad you decided to get two.

Those kittens are incredibly adorable. We've been thinking of getting one or two for ourselves and you might be pushing us over the edge.
